WELCOME to the LIMSC 2013
The Leiden International Medical Student Conference (LIMSC) is one of the largest student conferences in Europe, hosted by the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and organized by (bio-) medical students. The eight edition of LIMSC will take place in Leiden, the Netherlands March 13th-17th 2013.
Since its first edition in 1999, LIMSC has grown into an internationally acknowledged and well-respected event. The 2011 edition welcomed over 550 visitors and received over 600 abstracts from 36 different nations.
LIMSC provides talented medical and biomedical students worldwide with the opportunity to present their research to an international audience. The research presented will include a wide variety of (bio-) medical topics, ranging from internal medicine and public health to molecular cell biology and ethics. These presentation sessions will be interspersed with guest lectures by prominent international speakers, interactive workshops, a range of social events and a Career & Internship Fair.
LIMSC 2013 aims to let students experience and be exposed to high-level research and have the possibility to interact and learn from the current leading figures in the academic world. Furthermore an extensive Career & Internship Fair will provide possibilities for international internships and career perspectives.
