Registration, Payment and Cancellation Conditions

Registrations

  • All active-registrations have to be performed before February 1st 2011. After this date, registration for actives will not be possible anymore!
  • All registrations for social program, workshops and hotels are based on ‘first come, first serve’-principle. Registration for these events will automatically close when the full capacity is reached.

Payment

  • All payments should be completed within 4 weeks after registration.
  • Passive-registrations performed in the last 4 weeks before the conference should be completed before attendance to the conference.
  • An additional fee of €4,50 will be charged for payments by credit card.
  • The payment of actives with hotel rooms, including the €75-active package (package # 1), should be completed before 1 February 2011. Otherwise the room reservation will be cancelled, and the €75-active package will be downgraded to the €30-package without hotel (package # 2). This cannot be undone by paying after February 1st 2011.
  • Passive registrations with Social Programme or hotel rooms have to be paid within 4 weeks after registration or before January 31th, whichever one is earlier. Otherwise the social programme activity and hotel room will be cancelled and become available to other participants. In that case your registration will be downgraded to passive-ticket (€10 or €15) only.
  • Payment at the conference is not possible, unless approved by the LIMSC-treasurer after e-mail contact. It will never be approved for registrations with hotel rooms included, or passive registrations with social activities or hotel rooms included.

 

Cancellations

  • All cancellations will only be valid when performed by e-mail, and when confirmed by e-mail from the Secretary and Treasurer of LIMSC 2011.
  • Cancellation will be possible until February 1st 2011 for all registrations.
  • After February 1st 2011:
    • Cancellations will be free of charge for registrations without hotel rooms until 1 week  before the conference (Wednesday, March 9th 2011).
    • Cancellation of registrations with hotel rooms will be charged for the hotel costs only: €45 per night, or €45 for two nights in the €75-active package. Please note: This will only be eligible to already paid registrations. Hotel reservations, which are not paid before February 1st 2011, will be automatically cancelled.
  • Cancellations within 1 week of the conference will not be accepted, and the complete fee will be charged.
  • Cancellation of parts of your registration (e.g. workshops, dinners or Social Program) will be free of charge until 1 week (March 9th 2011) before the conference, except for hotel reservations. Hotel reservations can be cancelled free of charge until 1 February 2011. This is also eligible for cancellation of single nights. After 1 February 2011, cancellation of hotel nights will be charged for the hotel costs: €45 per night, or €45 for two nights in the €75-active package.
  • Refunding of cancelled parts of your registration will be performed at the conference. Refunding of complete cancelled registrations will be performed electronically.
  • All refunds will be performed in Euros (€). LIMSC will not be responsible for a contingent change in currency value or for possible currency conversion costs.
